The relationship between mother and daughter creates a life agenda that when nurtured, enriches us, our self-concepts, our relationships, and the world. We can be connected at our core, or have Grand Canyon-sized chasms between our ability to love, mirror and reflect each other, or some of us can experience both gap and connection! The range is vast and the opportunity to close the gap where it exists is equally vast.
Daughters learn what love looks and feels like primarily from their moms, and other maternal or feminine figures or images. This learning creates how the feminine is expressed in themselves, and within their world, for better or worse. Often, there can be an inherent wound between mothers and daughters, called the Mother Wound, that is passed down between generations. It’s rarely discussed because of its unconscious nature, and because of the sensitivity and sanctity of the mother/daughter relationship, and because we are not clear how to address it even when we would like to. This gap impacts how we see ourselves in the world.
You and your daughter(s), daughter-in-law, mother, or whomever wants to sit in this sacred space with you, are invited to explore and identify how the divine feminine is expressed in you both. Through this we can connect with our true nature, allowing us access to our compassion, forgiveness, and the co-creation of our relationship. The intention is to heal the transgenerational traumas and deep-rooted patterns that can be passed down in mitochondrial DNA between women, and to clear the path forward for a profoundly mutual and grace-filled relationship. Please let me know if you’re interested by clicking “register”. As soon as I have 5 pairs (or trios!), we’ll work together to find a date that works for all in early 2025. Pricing and pre-work to follow. We will share pre-prepared meals to keep costs down.
Please note that for this program to keep costs down the participants will be contributing meals for the weekend.
