AN EIGHT-DAY IMMERSION · SHENANDOAH VALLEY
The Way of Wisdom
A Woman’s Journey
March 6–13, 2027
There is a wisdom that cannot be taught — only remembered. It lives beneath the roles we play, the advice we’ve absorbed, the voices that taught us to doubt what we already know.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to look outward for answers that were always meant to be found within. The Way of Wisdom is an invitation back — eight days to quiet the noise, soften the armor of “having it together,” and return to the deeper knowing that has been waiting patiently for your attention all along.
This is not a retreat about becoming someone new. It’s about un-becoming — releasing what was never truly yours, so what remains is more honest, more grounded, more you. Over eight days, you’ll be held in a container designed for real transformation: space to feel what you’ve been too busy to feel, ritual and reflection to help you listen to your own life, and the company of women walking a similar path — each of you a mirror for the other’s becoming.
Our invitation is to leave the outside world behind — family, work, obligations, and your digital devices. Our hope is that you’ll give yourself the gift of immersion into your essence, without the distractions of life. Wisdom isn’t something we chase. It’s something we clear space for. This is that space.
Along the Way We’ll Explore Together
- The nature of wisdom itself
- Relaxing self-judgment and embracing our inner knowing
- The intuitive nature of trusting life
- Two days of silence and fasting, as a vehicle for accessing our deeper spiritual nature
- A deep dive into embodied knowledge and knowing, drawing on the teachings of Peter Levine, Thomas Hübl, Andrew Holecek, and Kristin Neff
- The generational transmission of wisdom carried through our own lineage
- Opening ourselves to divine feminine guidance around our wisdom — wisdom as a feminine principle, historically the manifestation of the connection between the mundane and the divine
- Using our guaranteed end of life as a catalyst for naming, embracing, and sharing our essential wisdom
The Way of Wisdom is the path from performance to presence, from conditioning to clarity.
A GENTLE TRUTH
Wisdom Is Rarely Glamorous
It usually ripens through:
- heartbreak
- caregiving
- endings
- surrender
- failure
- love
- aging
- silence
- truth-telling
… and learning to trust what is deeply known, rather than externally rewarded.
We’ll be alongside you on this journey, every step of the way. Please consider giving this gift to yourself — to honor all parts of you, and bring them together in a gentle, open, reflective, and loving space.
With love, Leslie & Carolyn
